How do I rent a car in Búzios?

There are car rental agencies in Búzios and usually two options are offered; The regular and the open cars, known as “Bugres”. Our receptionists can schedule this service with the agencies if necessary. We declare that our establishment is not responsible for the efficiency of these services.

Does the hotel have secure parking?

The hotel offers 24-hour parking for guests, however, Casas Brancas is not responsible for damages caused by third-party cars.

How to get there using public transportation?

Buses leave the Rio de Janeiro Bus Station usually every 2 hours, from 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. The trip lasts approximately 2h30.

How far is the city center of Casas Brancas?

Casas Brancas is situated a few steps from the city center, only five minutes walk.

Spring

Beach: Bikini / shorts, sarong, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, low sandals, lightweight shirt to wear at the end of a beach day at sunset.
During the day: clothes suitable for average temperatures of 25 °.

At night: the temperature can drop to 20 °, so it is advisable to have a light blouse. A shawl can also be useful for cooler nights.

Summer

Beach: Bikini / shorts, sarong, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, low sandals and the lightest clothes you have.

During the day: clothes suitable for average temperatures of 30 °.

At night: dresses, skirts, blouses, sandals, shorts, t-shirts. A lightweight, long sleeve shirt to wear when windy.

Autumn

Beach: Bikini / shorts, sarong, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, low sandals, long sleeved light shirt to wear at the end of a beach day at sunset.

During the day: clothes suitable for average temperatures of 24 °.

At night: the temperature can drop to 20 °, so it is advisable to wear a thin blouse, closed shoes, shawl and pants.

Winter

Beach: Bikini / shorts, dresses or comfortable pants, sarong, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, low sandals, light shirt with long sleeves or a thin blouse to wear at the end of a beach day at sunset.

During the day: clothes suitable for average temperatures of 24 °.

At night: the temperature can lower up to 18 °, therefore it is recommended to wear a blouse, closed shoes, shawl, trousers and a jacket

The cancellations and changes must be requested by email (reservas@casasbrancas.com.br). If you have made your reservation through third parties such as agencies or OTAs, the cancellation and changes must be requested directly to them.

Are taxes included in the daily rate?

You must add 10% of taxes to the price of the daily rates.

Are the daily rates per apartment or per person?

The rates are valid for double occupancy, whether occupied by one or two people.
In some apartments a third bed can be placed, with an addition of 30% of the daily cost of the apartment itself.

Junior Standard: An apartment that offers the simplicity and comfort characteristic of the hotel with an internal view.

Standard: Apartments with internal view, preserving all the comfort and identity of the Casas Brancas style.

Classic: Apartments with panoramic sea view without balcony

Superior: Apartments with panoramic sea views, with small balconies.

Deluxe: Larger apartments with panoramic sea views and larger private balcony.

Junior Suite: Large apartments with panoramic sea views and a small balcony.

Master Suite: Large apartments with panoramic sea views and private balconies.

The Suite: A unique room with sea view, pool, sofa with positioning favoring the view and sun lounger on the balcony. This accommodation has around 60m².

The Loft:Our new and most exclusive experience. A space where the breeze and natural light blend with the best view of the sea Casas Brancas has to offer, these 160 m² (480 feet²) compose the elegant and only rooftop room of the hotel. A spacious veranda with sun loungers facing sunset, two bathrooms and it’s independent kitchen recreate a unique and unforgettable stay.

Do all rooms have a sea view?

No, the standard category of apartments does not have an ocean view, but it retains all the comfort and identity of the Casas Brancas style

What is the layout of the beds in the apartments?

Single or double apartment offers 01 double bed, which, depending on the characteristics of the apartment, can be separated into two singles.
If separate beds are required (single) a special request must be mentioned in the field of your reservation observations.
Quadruple apartment offers 01 double bed in an apartment and two single in another, sharing the bathroom.
If 03 single beds are required in the same room a special request must be mentioned in the field of observations of your reservation.
Children are considered in the maximum capacity of people of each apartment and must be informed at the time of their reservation

Yes, a tropical breakfast served on the terrace facing the sea, is included in the daily rate.

Yes, Casas Brancas has a meeting room with a maximum capacity of 18 people.

In Casas Brancas children are admitted only from the age of five.

Do I need a Visa to enter Brazil?

Visitors from several countries will not need a visa, as long as the passport is valid for at least six months after entering Brazil.

No visa is required for European Community countries, including the United Kingdom. A tourist visa is required for U.S. citizens, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Japan.

At the time of check-in, the guest will be asked to present an official identification document of their country.

What is the Lost & Found policy?

Items forgotten by hotel guests and found after their departure will be stored for 90 days. After this period, the hotel will unravel unclaimed items in any way it deems most appropriate.

Is it allowed professional photography or use of drones on the property?

Aiming the privacy of all our guests, the use of drones is not allowed on our property, as well as it is expressly FORBIDDEN to take photographs for commercial or professional purposes that associate the hotel with any type of brand. Failure to comply with these policies will result in summary cancellation of the reservation, without refund of prepaid amounts.

It is strictly prohibited to carry out any advertising campaign or advertising of products and services on the premises of CASAS BRANCAS BOUTIQUE HOTEL & SPA, whether in common or private areas, without prior formal authorization (in writing). Failure to comply with this policy, using Casas Brancas Boutique Hotel & Spa as a location for these purposes, will entail administrative and judicial measures, withdrawal of advertising campaigns and/or advertising of products and services, in addition to the payment of a fine of BRL 30,000.00 ( thirty thousand reais) and the losses and damages that will be arbitrated in court. Thus, the guest acknowledges and agrees with this policy presented by the hotel, at the time of booking, being fully aware of the restrictions and other measures.
